See what your gratuity would be worth on different last-working-day dates: the moment you cross 1 year and become eligible, and the 5-year mark where each future year starts earning 30 days instead of 21. Your notice period is included — you keep accruing while you work it — and it even flags the often-forgotten cost of leaving: your service clock restarts at a new employer. It’s information to help you decide, never advice on what to do.
Accurate by design
The UAE Labour Law changed in 2022 and many tools never caught up. GratuityPilot reflects today’s rules:
- Resigning and being terminated now pay the same gratuity.
- The old “limited vs unlimited contract” distinction no longer exists.
- Even dismissal for misconduct keeps your gratuity — it can’t be forfeited.

GratuityPilot — Privacy Policy
The short version: GratuityPilot collects no personal data about you. There is no sign-up, no account, no tracking, and no analytics. Everything you enter stays on your device and is never sent to us or anyone else.
1. Who we are
GratuityPilot (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is an informational tool that estimates UAE end-of-service gratuity. This policy explains how the app handles information.
2. Information we collect
None. We do not collect, store on our servers, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. Specifically:
- We do not ask you to create an account or sign in.
- We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or location.
- We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash-reporting SDKs.
- We do not use cookies or device identifiers for tracking.
3. Information you enter
The figures you type into the app — such as your basic salary, employment dates, unpaid-leave days, jurisdiction, and notice period — are processed entirely on your device to perform the calculation. This information is stored only in the app’s local storage on your own device so you don’t have to re-enter it. It never leaves your device and is never visible to us. Uninstalling the app removes it.
4. Links to other services
The app can open external links at your request — for example, an email app when you tap “Help keep this accurate”, or official UAE government and free-zone websites from the “Not sure which to pick?” helper. When you follow such a link you leave the app, and the destination service handles your information under its own privacy policy. The act of opening a link sends no information to us.
5. No third-party data sharing
Because we collect no data, we have nothing to share with, or sell to, third parties.
6. Children’s privacy
The app is intended for adults managing their employment information and is not directed at children. As we collect no data, we collect no data from children.
7. Security
Your inputs remain in the app’s local storage on your own device, protected by your device’s own security. As nothing is transmitted to us, there is no server-side data to breach.
8. Accuracy and purpose
GratuityPilot provides estimates for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal or financial advice. Your actual entitlement depends on your contract and circumstances.
