After two decades away, returning to Łódź for the PKB314 Powiatowe Kluby Biznesu conference at Vienna House Andel’s was both nostalgic and inspiring. The historic red-brick hotel, set in the heart of Manufaktura, provided a perfect backdrop for an evening of networking and new beginnings.

As I joined local entrepreneurs and business leaders in the vibrant conference hall, I was struck by the city’s transformation—modern venues, creative energy, and a spirit of collaboration that filled the air. During the meeting, I had the privilege of introducing the Polish Business Council in Dubai to all the PKB314 members. Sharing the Council’s mission of connecting Polish entrepreneurs across borders, I encouraged attendees to explore new opportunities for partnership and growth in the UAE and beyond.

Beyond the event, I wandered down Piotrkowska Street, admired the revitalized Księży Młyn district, and enjoyed a quiet coffee in OFF Piotrkowska. Each stop was a reminder of how Łódź has blended its industrial heritage with modern ambition.

My visit to the PKB314 meeting at Andel’s was more than a business trip—it was a homecoming to a city that continues to reinvent itself, powered by the drive of its people and the connections they build. Łódź today is a place where tradition meets innovation, and where local roots can spark global ventures.
